COVID-19 Protocols at Intrinsic Theatre
As of February 3, 2022
Welcome back to Intrinsic Theatre, we've missed you! We cannot wait to be performing for you again. While we are preparing to reintroduce the magic of live theatre into our routine, we have implemented protocols to help ensure the health and safety for our staff, cast, crew, and patrons. These protocols have been created with the guidance from and collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control, the City of Chicago, the League of Chicago Theatres, and Broadway in Chicago. They are subject to change and we will update any changes here.
We thank you for your assistance while we navigate this unprecedented moment in theatre's history.

Chicago Vaccine Requirement
Order of the Commissioner of Health of the City of Chicago, No 2021-2. Effective January 26, 2022.
Individuals 5 years of age and older must provide proof that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to dine indoors, visit gyms, or attend any entertainment venue where food or drinks are served. Additionally, any individual 16 years of age or older must provide a valid form of identification that matches their vaccination record.
Proof of Vaccination
The Centers for Disease Control classifies a person as fully vaccinated when 14 days have passed after receiving the second dose of an authorized two-dose vaccine (Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, etc.) or when 14 days have passed since receiving an authorized single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson).
Intrinsic will accept either physical or digital copies of an individual's vaccination record. This includes a vaccine record from a healthcare provider, a photograph of a CDC Vaccination Card (or equivalent record from a foreign health department), or a verified smartphone application (such as, IDPH Vax Verify, NYC Covid Safe, Common Pass, etc).
Infants under the age of 2 will not be permitted to attend an Intrinsic production at this time.
Individuals with a medical or religious exemption must provide proof of exemption - a handwritten note is insufficient. Additionally, those with an exemption and individuals aged 2-4 years old must provide a negative COVID test. PCR tests must be administered with 72 hours of the performance. Antigen tests must be administered within 6 hours of the performance. At-home tests will not be accepted.

Mask Requirement
Masks are required for the entirety of your time at Intrinsic. To provide as safe a space as possible for our entire Intrinsic family: cast, crew, and guests, masks must cover your nose and mouth at all times. Any patron who removes their mask will be asked to leave the theatre.
If you cannot or will not agree to wear your mask with us, we respectfully ask that you wait to rejoin our productions until the mask mandate has been rescinded by the City of Chicago.
